Mil­len­ni­u­ma­nia is a com­puter-con­trolled in­stal­la­tion. Via In­ter­net, pedes­trian videos from 24 dif­fer­ent places in 24 time­zones will per­ma­nently be sent into the in­stal­la­tion. The videos will be pro­jected on a 360 de­gree screen. The cal­cu­lated av­er­age speed of the pedes­tri­ans at one place de­fines the speed of the re­spec­tive film in the 360º screen in­stal­la­tion. Each film moves with its own speed. The pedes­trian re­al­time im­ages of the dif­fer­ent places are com­pet­ing within the cir­cle. It’s an end­less race. A work about in­di­vid­ual time sen­sa­tion.
