Series of colour photographs on Alu Dibond

An ongoing project since 2001 about the Palace of the Republic in East-Berlin, the most representative remnant of the former GDR. After a decade of controversy and a battle between those who wished to see it remain and renovated, and those who demanded that the Royal Palace should be rebuilt on the site, the future of the PDR has been decided: the removal started 2006.
